Hey Brad,

I don’t have much of a question, just a ramble.

I’m from Austin, and a longtime fan. I went to all your animation showcases at the Alamo Drafthouse and I still have a quickly sketched giraffe that you drew on one of the menu tickets. I went all through highschool and college following your work. When I was having a bad day, Wizard People would be in the background because it cheered me up. I remember when you announced you were leaving for LA to go work on the China, IL pilot and I was both super happy for you (and all of television) though sad that Austin would be losing one of its finest artists.

Fast forward 5 years and upon graduating college I’ve moved from Austin to LA, and am also working for Adult Swim on one of their new shows, Rick and Morty. I originally had no idea I even wanted to work in animation until I started and now I love it. It was like something just clicked. I guess I ended up following you around and I didn’t even mean to.

Anyway, China, IL is awesome, please keep making rad things, and thanks for everything!
