Personally, I view this as a massive preorder campaign. I doubt there are that many people throwing money at the Kickstarter who aren't pledging one of the tiers that gets them something in return.

I, for one, am very happy to spend some money now to lock in a preorder price on what looks to be a very cool product! :)

I think it would be worth trying! It might also be worth looking into washes as an option in-between color printing and professional painting.

How many prototypes do you usually go through before you decide a new part is fit for release? Are there any particular "gotchas" you need to watch out for when designing new parts?

I was at that concert! It's still one of the most emotional musical experiences I've ever had. Bravo!

Have you had any spectacular failures you can share? Such as a particular option that kept causing messed up prints or the like?
