Prepay the taxes to you. Since the Dutch post charges 13 euro's to calculate tax I can imagine that it would be a lot cheaper for all of us if you import them in to Europe all at the same time.

I will prefer the cheaper option. I am however not completely sure that the second option will be cheaper. Because importing an OG Pebble is still cheaper than buying one from the EU shop.

Edit: Are you aware that Singpost takes more than a month to ship to the Netherlands?

It makes a huge difference. If you ship from within Europe we only have to pay VAT. If we have to do the import stuff individually, the postal company takes 13 euros just to calculate the VAT. Please do it the same way as with the Time, that worked great.

Why can it only be carried out in the US? Has that something to do with the specific genes involved or is it some nasty patent?

It is just a matter of conventions. I don't know what the origins are. And I also don't think one is superior above the other. You should however realize that this convention is mostly a part of the language, which means that in English you should always use a point.

If you use multiple languages alongside each other it can become confusing. My bachelor was in Dutch but all my books where in English and some of the teachers did not even speak Dutch. I use a point in mathematical stuff now, I only use a comma if it is clearly embedded in Dutch language.

Will you also ship these Pebbles from Ireland for EU backers?
