Sara, when you were first filming Popular, did you think it would attract such a cult following?

I was a little older than the target demographic, but I know my friends and I would have Popular watching nights and really looked forward each week to it. I think even for first year at uni students a lot of the issues were ones we faced, and popular wasn't overly patronising like some shows.
