Go Gators! (Recent MS grad in parks, rec and tourism here!)

What do you want tourists and park visitors to know about black bears, aside from the obvious safety tips?

Where's the best place to see a bear in Florida (safely)?

Hi Kathryn, I've been following your content for a little while and enjoy it! Congrats on the Nat Geo feature.

When you started living this lifestyle, did you also start blogging/using social media at the same time? I'm considering starting an Instagram account or blog about living green in my area (Orlando, FL) as I haven't found anyone who does yet and I'd like to be a local resource. Do you have any advice for someone who is interested in starting? Should I just live my life and live by example, or are there other benefits to sharing your experience online?

How were you going to sell it all when you got back to the states?

What do you think about the idea of "last chance" tourism, people flocking to tourism destinations where there are glaciers to see them before "they're gone". Like people flocking to Australia's Great Barrier Reef before it "dies". How can glacier-related tourism be more sustainable and educational?

I'm moving to Alaska this summer to work in tourism in an area with lots of glaciers, so I'm interested to see how an expert would advise someone in the tourism industry on how to educate their clients.

Thank you!

Do you think certain famous sites, say Machu Picchu, should have visitation limits or higher prices to keep tourism to a sustainable level, similar to the way certain National Parks in the US (like the Grand Canyon and Zion) are raising prices and limiting visitors?
