For what it's worth - one of the more recent challenge paths was called "Class Act 2" - it gives you all of the skills from one of the classes (and only those skills). It was associated with a revamp of the classes. It had some fiddly aspects when it comes to monster level, but in general, it gives you a chance to see how all of the class skills play nicely together. I think it'd be a good starting point if you remember some of the game.

Ha. My wife is the same way (in terms of undercooked). I realized early on that she doesn't actually like brownies - she likes warm brownie batter. Same for cookies. If I am baking brownies, I have to set the timer for 5 minutes extra, because she pulls them out early every time.
