You mean they actually let foreigners inside?
I've been researching North Korea for some time, and I would very much like to take a tour of North Korea through a company like you did. I really wanted to see them dead inside the mausoleum, but just assumed they wouldn't let a filthy foreigner like me into see their dearly departed leaders.

I have a morbid fascination with that kind of stuff. One day I'd also like to see Lenin lying in state.

Really? That's awesome. You've clearly been able to travel to a lot of cool places!

That's truly fascinating. I'm really envious of your trip! I loved your photos; I've eaten up pretty much every documentary I could find on NK, but with the tour guides breathing down everyone's neck, I've never been really satisfied with them. It's a place I really want to see first hand.
You said the famine was evident, even in places like Pyongyang. Were they just generally more skinny than most Asians, or were there really stark examples similar to the photos of the Holocaust survivors? I imagine they wouldn't let you take pictures of the most extreme poverty if you ever encountered it.
