When I was in high school, I really didn't do anything that would warrant mention on a resume except academics. When I was applying for honors programs and scholarships, I found it incredibly hard to come up with things to put on my applications, and of course I had the same problem when putting together my resume. I have no doubt that this lost me a few opportunities at some schools I wanted to attend (and some sophomore year internships). Thankfully I had this issue early on and have been a lot more involved in college, and my resume is great now, but what advice do you have for anyone out there who still doesn't have much to bring to the table outside of academics, or even worse if they don't really have that?

Adam, I know you were really involved with getting Top Gear to the U.S. over the last few years, and I know obviously things didn't work out as planned for so many reasons. I have a few questions about it for you. 1. How do you feel about they show they eventually produced? Obviously Tanner is a great guy to have on the crew, but the other two leave a lot to be desired for me. Adam is hilarious, but seems to know nothing, while Rutledge might be the worst and most annoying TV host I've ever seen. What would you have changed, other than putting yourself in as a host? 2. I've seen your Speed show, and I like it well enough, but I can't help but think Fox limited a lot of what you probably wanted to do with the show's structure. Did the show end up being what you'd hoped or are you still trying to get your ideas worked in?

You seem very smart and this seems very pointless, so...

What are you hoping to use your findings for? Do you want plants to be able to use color to reflect certain situations/dangers (my lilacs just turned red I must have a gas leak!) or will you try to use the methods you develop to accomplish this in another field?
