I have to poke at this. You say you believe the earth is warming and that it is partly man-made. There's two things here I must note 1) scientists are not trained to believe anything. What do the data say? There is no belief involved. And 2) I've seem conservatives and libertarians alike parscing words in this debate all too often. Partly man-made? Yes, we in the scientific community know that. What part? 25%? 50%? 94? How much do you believe? Rather, what do the data indicate that your climatologist provides to your team and how does it stack up against his peers? That said, the scientific community appears to be at consensus regarding man's impact on the climate. Given their stance, what's taking so long for libertarians to come around here?

If I wrote you a long drawn out explanation of a problem I am having with my back that is in all likelihood a neuromuscular issue, would you be able to give me some advice on who to see and what the problem might be? I have bee suffering from extreme back pain for 15 years and my doctors do not have a good handle on what is causing the problem.

I used to know an old man that ran a family owned funeral home for 50+ years. While sharing stories one night, he told me that when he was first getting started in the business that he used 3 times as much embalming fluid as he does today. When I pressed him as to why, he told me that we Americans eat so much awful food loaded with preservatives that we essentially preserve ourselves and do not decay as quickly as we used to when we die. Any truth to this story?
