Holy shit. This is my plan as well. I’m a successful engineer - I get paid very well but it’s not “fulfilling.” Hoping to save enough money to retire in my 40s and be an HS math, physics, computer science, etc teacher.

How difficult is it to deal with communication delay between Earth and space? Has there ever been a moment when the delay seemed dramatically longer than what it actual was (i.e. fear that something went wrong)?
