Realistically how much time should i study frame data

I feel like i understand the most i can without actually studying it, like i know when and where the hit boxes are for certains moves when im defending and can kind of feel out frametraps and am decent at playing mind games and footsies, im a ken main btw. When you study the frame data do yoy go over all characters or just certains ones that are more common?
