Hello! How effective is strobe in flashlights at disorienting the bad guys?

What were you using? I guess a flashlight's capability to start directly into strobe and have an easy to use interface is highly important giving that you are supposed to act in extreme stress situations.

Also, for the guys that might use this strobe feature, I've found Klarus XT11, Olight M20 Warrior and Nitecore P25 have direct strobe mode start and the same easy to use interface and they're a bit lighter than your Streamlight with over 600 lumens in their max output.

Would be nice if Surefire could equip all their lights with strobe given that they're advertisied as being highly used by police and law enforcement in general and , as you say, this strobe feature is highly efficient in imobilizing disturbers.
