Hi, Ray! Two questions: what have you found most fulfilling in your career, and what should I make my husband for dinner?

Looks like great minds think alike :) it was down to steak or spaghetti. Vodka florentine sauce is simmering as we type. Thanks for answering, hope you have a great night! (totally re watching Swamp Thing with dinner!)

I am so excited to see you on here! Thanks for doing this.

Growing up, I loved to write short stories, but none never made it to novel length. Now I work so much and have life distractions that I don't have time to sit and get any of the bazillion ideas out of my head. Do you have any advice for someone who is in a similar situation, but wants to write?

Thanks for doing this AMA - I have a friend who worked/lived in the NY sanctuary for 3 years and have heard nothing but glowing things from her. I still consume some animal products (husband has eggs daily, we have meat once or twice a week), but they are from family member's farms, well cared for, and far from the "factory farming" setup. I have friends and family members who argue with me, saying that I can't truly care for the lives of the animals if I still use any animal products, but I disagree.

My question is - do you have any advice for someone like me? It's not often that I actually crave a steak or chicken, but when I do, I eat it... I just make sure that its from an animal who was well loved during its lifetime.
