You Made It Weird w/ Pete Holmes

Hey man. I'm a lot like you. Felt like Siamese Dream got me when no one else did. Was an angsty, lonely kid. Worshipped the Pumpkins. Bought expensive import singles. Bought the guitar tab books and learned every song. Planned to get a Pumpkins tattoo since I was like 16 and finally did when I was 20. Felt like they defined me. Never got to see them live and thm finally in 2008 I win a radio contest to not only see them live but also get in early for their sound check. Better late than never, right? In 1999 I literally fantasized about playing onstage with them every day and night, and I'll happily settle to finally see them live 9 years later. Well, basically Billy acted disinterested the whole time and his "banter" between songs was degrading the venue and its upcoming acts (dude, uhm, YOU'RE playing here) and I almost wanted to cry as all the bad rumors I heard for years about Billy started to crystallize right in front of me. He was a mean jerk, straight up. It crushed me.
