I lost my eye at 12. It's simply nothing. It's hard to describe unless you've experienced it. But it's just not there. Being able to see out of one eye though, I'm very conscious of the fact it's not there.

I have a prosthetic eye. It is very easy to take out and put in. Mine is not pegged though, as a peg would cause mine to move too much. However, those with a peg aren't permanently attached, the peg simply helps it move, so still easy to take out.

Practice, and quite frankly, accepting there are some things I just can not do well. I'm terrible at most sports that involve a fast moving ball.

Fellow one eye person here. Honestly, if I could have got a cool eye patch at the age of 12 when I lost my eye, it may have made middle school a little little less hellish for those few months. So best of luck to you and what you're doing!
