Is it normal for NA Universities to have their own "security"? And is it needed?

  1. Specs? We have yet to see the specs of that system? Have you been ripped off or was it worth the money?
  2. Next time, get advice on reddit and set yourself up with an awesome system, the experience alone is worth it.
  3. Never overspend on a gaming rig, they loose value faster than a BMW M3 and the next model is so much faster for the same price.
  4. Have fun gaming on the system, and fun over all :)

I would think erosion is a killer, the house is a barrier for water flowing and it also prevents ground drain, so the water from the roof and the water flowing around the house in a rain event will erode the ground faster in the area around the house.
Natural erosion added and the house (normally) not moving with it, it is not unexpected to stand free when not maintained properly.
Vegetation is a good way to prevent erosion, also diverting the water in non erosive ways down the hill is pretty good.

once the foundation is just sitting on the soil there is just little preventing it from sliding down.
