Our dispatch burnout rates are higher than our EMT/medics, which are already pretty high. What kinds of things do you think an org can do to help mitigate?
Being on the dispatch side, do you ever wish you’d get outcomes / closure on the patients you’re on the phone with?
Have you seen your EMS improving since COVID? We are still struggling with wait times and response times, it seems like it’s still busier than before COVID despite moving past the COVID peak, and a lot of good people left the field in the past couple years that I think is hard to replace too
How do you respond to medical alarm calls where there isn’t any information?
