Let me tell you a little something about being in the "music industry."

These people are everywhere at every level of it. I've had experience in both the talent and technical side of various types of performances. There are plenty of people who want to pay you for your work, but a lot of times it's either "great exposure for [insert talent name here]" or "job experience." I'm certain the NFL is full of shitty people, and I have no doubt they could have afforded some sort of compensation for the group, but it's not just them.
