Having everyone sign up for a Facebook group is probably a lot lower effort than an email list, also. Just for them to dip their toes in the pool.

Bernie ran against a corrupt 5 term incumbent mayor and won by ~14 votes. The next race had an astonishing 6942 votes, gaining ~52% of the total vote vs both a stronger Democratic candidate and a Republican candidate. Here is the election data for his time in office: http://imgur.com/a/U5h7B

When he got into office his staff was stymied at every turn by the Demcorats and Republicans. However although most of his appointments were rejected he and his team worked in their spare time to run the government and found a 1.9mil$ budget surplus the incompetent patronage appointed treasurer had missed. He also had run on lower property taxes than the Democrat. He finally gained the 5 votes to sustain a mayoral veto after the next set of city council elections. The first establishment politician to side with him was a Republican city councilor.

Bernie Sanders was famous for out-Republicaning the Republicans including doing things like upgrading the snow plow fleet, instituting competitive bidding in city contracts and many other similar actions.

He is has the highest constituent favorability rating of any Senator with 83 to 13. He has one of the top privacy rights voting records in the Senate. Hardcore conservatives vote for Bernie Sanders in numbers which terrify both the Democrat and Republican parties in Vermont.

I'm part of STL4Bernie and we came up several weekends to canvas door to door. I can't say it was fun exactly, but it was certainly interesting. So many Trump supporters.

Its the dogs man. Everyone has dogs. Regardless of the area we are in. The barking. My god. Even the beagles bark up a storm.

It's my personal feeling as a volunteer that the Sanders campaign is a bit behind both on Super Tuesday states and those like Illinois and Missouri that go on the 15th of March.

However if it helps I know that several super Tuesday states do have some campaign offices up.

Colorado, Texas, Vermont, and Minnesota all have some decent campaign staff. I know Vermont is an easy win. Texas apparently has over 80000 volunteers signed up. Colorado JUST opened their first office.

What state are you from?
