Have you ever used buprenorphine to transition to sobriety? and if so what is your opinion or advise about using it or not?

I've been on a low dose of suboxone since 2012. I lost my health insurance for a bit and am looking at tapering off soon.

I'm just gonna reply every time you say that with "I agree". Because I do agree.

I completely agree. The only way to control it is to control the market of sales so that there's not enough incentive for an illegal market like there is now. Then you take the money that is made from the drug sales and put it some of it into health programs that make treatment accessible and free to those who need it. Or if the vending locations could also be places of counseling and recovery resources (for those that decide they need to go clean they can be referred to a center that isn't close to a dispensary) so that those that are using are aware of the methods of help should their usage start being detrimental to their life. For many, def not all, it's the lack of reliable access to the drug that becomes highly disruptive to their life. I feel like that's just the beginnings of an idea but they are doing interesting things in other countries. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heroin-assisted_treatment
