Hey there! I am a physical therapist and see CRPS often. It's tough to treat and my interventions vary significantly person to person. I'm assuming you have had PT as one of the many things you've tried and I'm curious if anything helped (even if temporary) and more importantly what really didn't help?

So sorry your family is going through this. Your daughter seems like a champ and I hope she has a great recovery. I'm a physical therapist and I work outpatient, not inpatient neuro, but I have experience working with SCIs. What op said about pushing you harder than you will push yourself is a huge part of it. We know how far we can and should go so trust her doctors and the team. But it's not just that. The sooner after an injury or surgery you can gain mobility and strength the better you will be. I know it's hard from the patient's and family's perspective but the longer we wait to do certain treatments/activities the harder it is to get them back.

Thank you for your response. This has been my experience as well. Definitely harder to treat the more chronic it is. I often find that patients are worse after treatment no matter how gentle or aggressive my treatment approach is. Good luck to you!
