i think the important take away from that video is the fact that the cremation would be incomplete leaving body parts floating around in the water. if you can somehow manage to get the temperature high enough for long enough and the boat afloat through the whole thing, then you can probably skirt the law easier.

There's something called the innocence project. Pretty good group. They're the ones doing that work. They've been able to overturn (I think) 8 death row convictions just in Texas. It doesn't sound like a lot but those cases are a bitch and take forever. You should look into them if you get the time. Probably shouldn't talk about it at work though.
