I got pretty depressed for a while, ended up moving out, leaving my long-term girlfriend and moving away. I'm more reserved now. Less fun but more sincere. More empathetic than I want to be. The changes have lessened slightly in the years since, but they don't go away.

That happened to me when I found pot and used it for about a year. I now hate who I used to be.
