Not her, but what often happens is they have a source saying someone is an age, say 32 in her case, but they don't have a source on the birthday. So they don't know if she turned 32 already this year or will be turning 33 later, so they have to add the possibly birth years.

I worked for a specialty food company, this is often a "get what you pay for" scenario. There are plenty of people who think they can do it for less, then they sell less. You want good people selling and distributing, because that's how you make money.
