Hi Alyssa!

We're the same age and I grew up in Trumbull, CT which right next to Fairfield, where Who's the Boss took place. So as far as I was concerned Samantha was just a classmate from a nearby school. We were in the same grade for the entire run of the show until Samantha got to high school and apparently skipped her junior year. I went into junior year and was very surprised to find that Samantha was suddenly a senior.

Did the writers ever address this with you, or anyone? They didn't seem to address it on the show. It just kind of happened.

It's not a big deal but I've always wondered why.
