Do you have limits on which drugs you feel should be legalized, or is prohibition in all its forms a problem for you?

I agree with you, I was just determining where you fell on the continuum. I did not follow the AMA as closely as I intended, but I would argue that a complete and immediate legalization of all drugs with taxes based upon the potential harm and risk would be a boon to our society and reduce the likelihood of their being used.

Ask an individual if they would take Heroin if it were legal, more likely than not they'll say no because we know what it does. You take the tax revenue and invest it in tobacco style information advertising and addiction treatment and existing users will most likely decline.

With the reduction of costs for housing non-violent offenders in prisons and tax revenue from the legal distribution of drugs, and the potential revenues from other sources, such as hemp for example, we would stand to make out a great deal better.

Thanks for responding.

Do you feel bad for the draconian laws? (sorry for the editorializing)
