Why can't water be piped from areas where there is plenty (such as the great lakes) to areas where there is little (such as Las Vegas, Nevada)?

Great Lakes resident here. No, you can't have our water. We earn it by living through the harsh winters and regular rain. You want our water, you are most welcome to come live here. Until then, I won't see our Great Lakes drained just so people that live in deserts can have green lawns.

Actions speak louder than words. Libertarians in congress such as Rand Paul have make little moves to cut "the military, corporate welfare, drug war, etc." but have been party to plenty of actions with conservatives to cut social welfare.

Rand Paul has said -- and I wholeheartedly agree with him -- that Republicans who want to cut individual welfare while voting for corporate welfare can take a long walk off a short pier (my phrasing).

He may pay lip service to such a stand, but while I have seen plenty of action to reduce individual welfare, there has been very little legislation introduced to remove corporate welfare.

Please tell us what action Rand Paul and other libertarian-minded people in congress have taken to reduce corporate welfare.

Any plans to bring back the Elimination Station?

There used to be websites that followed eliminated teams to the place they are sequestered before heading to the final city. Nice way to get to know the eliminated teams.
