When I accidentally hung up on 911 they just called me back and had me report the accident I just saw all over again. You'd think the CAD would be able to say "this person just called and spent so long on the line with this dispatcher" but I guess it just sticks everyone in a queue and has someone call them back.

Not that I mind the diligence, it's good to know their standard procedure is actually to verify that the call I said happened did happen.

That's the value you converted?

I imagine it's along the same lines as why men who have sex with men can't donate blood: even if the additional risk is miniscule, there's enough supply that they don't need to accept that risk.

ICAO mandates you have proper color vision. If you can pass the Farnsworth you should be fine, but if not that will probably disqualify you.

I know this because I honestly would love the job, but I fail the Farnsworth. Here in Canada it used to be fine, there was actually a specific exemption in the health exam category for ATC, but a few years ago ICAO came down and said no. It's too bad, since I know our ATC system really doesn't rely on colors (or at least ones I have a problem with) but the ICAO doesn't seem to care.

So, to follow up on this, is it possible we'll see builds of other OSes (like the Kali builds for Chromebooks/Nexus devices)? I'd consider getting a Pixel C if something like that was possible, but I don't see myself buying a tablet that just runs Android (or any other mobile OS).

Obviously I know your team isn't going to be making any of those builds, I'm just asking if it would be possible.
