Why are white lines followed by black lines on the interstate?

I once had someone from a nationwide chain that since I had gotten anti-reflective lenses before I shouldn't even consider not getting the coating again (something about how my eyes would be alienated)

Is there any credence to that? It doesn't matter now, they bent me over so hard that I went and returned the lenses a week later.

So how do you test the efficacy of your vaccine? Do you infect the subject somehow? My question is what happens if ones vaccine doesn't work and ends up with a lifelong disease?

I saw a vaccine a few months ago for HIV and had the same thought.

Had one that I waited a week to get checked out on which turned out to be 5%. One trip to the ER later, I walk out with no new cuts and a followup appointment for a month later.
