Hi Regina! I noticed your newest album, Remember us to Life, is a translation of the Hebrew phrase זכרינו לחיים and was released right around Rosh HaShanah, with a song about the New Year. How would you say your Judaism, especially as a Soviet Jew, has influenced your life and your music career?

I also just want to say that, both as a music lover and a Jewish person living in the tristate area, I feel a strong connection to your music and it means so much to me! Thank you so much!

I love your cover of Halikha LeKeysaria. Do you ever plan on doing more Hebrew covers? Lots of us would love to hear you sing more Hebrew music!

Do you not feel that the way you conduct your research about the impoverished is inherently dehumanizing? When I read Nickled and Dimed, the way you depicted yourself coming in as an outsider and blending in, observing people, etc. it made it sound like you were watching animals in a natural habitat. Instead of finding it heart wrenching, I found it deeply disturbing. Surely there must be a better way to bring to light the plight of the lower class without turning them into a research subject?
