I work with these populations and other neurological and psychiatric issues. First off, kudos to you for sticking with it because it is extremely taxing work. Second, I went through an emotionally intense year where I greatly empathized with them and then I had some sort of empathy exhaustion or overload and now I feel similar to you. It's much more than a few thousand and there's also a big ol scar that sticks around for when you do finally go bald. People can live their life however they want, not like hair transplants affect anyone else. I just find it sad when people pour tons of money into vanity issues.
