This is my biggest gripe with other [assengers.

because it's essentially a charity that raises money through promotional films to make more promotional films. it's an endless loop where the filmmakers are the ones who benefit the most.

It's actually great. My mom has been a flight attendant for 40 years. My parents have a fantastic and stable relationship. My sister is a flight attendant for 2 years, and she has a stable marriage. My wife is a flight attendant for over a year and we have a stable relationship. I love when she goes away because I work from home a lot and can crack down without distractions, then, when she's back, we spend most of our days together. So we have a sort of "absence makes the heart grow fonder" mixed with "I just spend the last 8 days seeing you 24 hours/day, I can't wait to get other stuff done while you're away." type of marriage.

People should also realize that this is not really the norm. She works in Dubai, my guess is for Emirates and she probably moved to Dubai from another part of the world and so is living alone (with other Emirates roomates). I have 3 family members who work for Canadian airlines and although the crew can be promiscuous sometimes it's not nearly as collegedormroom as one might surmise from this post.
