I would say Emacs would keep you alive because everyone I know that uses Vi adamantly believes everyone will/would flock to it if they learned the commands. They don't put a gun to your head, just look down on you.

Thanks for the reply. For reference I mentioned this because you trade blows with Fidelity on your offerings (cash account and robo advisor) but that is one thing they have that keeps me stuck with them.
