They're kinda pricy (like 500 USD) but Garmin makes little GPS units that you can link to your phone and it'll hijack your phone GPS so you can send text messages through it connect to a satellite network and send a message in an emergency (I don't have a great grasp on how telecomm systems work) They also have an SOS button and if I hit that the Coast Guard will send a chopper looking for me.
Probably something you're already aware of but maybe someone else in this thread might find it useful. I work in the California mountains so it gives me some peace of mind when I'm miles from a car or cell service

I was going to ask a similar question earlier and second guessed myself. You say that you averaged around 5k for a bank, but I've worked convenience stores that would have 3 or 4k easily accessible between registers and pouches for making change (granted these places sold lotto and liquor so it was more than, say, a 7/11). Were banks just the first thing that came to mind? Seems like somewhere without security measures like alarms and remote lock doors would be a safer bet?
Though you also said in a previous AMA that you don't like the idea of robbing an individual (e.g. small business owner) so I may have just answered my own question.

Unfortunate that they decided to have that character be in an incestuous relationship with her dad, too

Worked restaurants for 8 years and my personal experience was holy fuck please let me leave from 2-4. I'm in the US, so serving/bartending relies on tips, and since you rarely got any customers during those slow periods, you just spend 2 hours wiping down things for the 3rd or 4th time and you get a whopping 8 dollars for it. I'd much rather go have a nap or run errands.

He mentioned it either earlier in this or another AMA.
Became a father, quit robbing, wanted to do his time while his baby was a baby instead of him being caught and incarcerated down the road when baby grew up
