  • How does UPS' software compare to FedEx Ship Manager?

  • Are people aware of how cheap shipping is & the fact most companies get a discount on the volume they ship?

  • Why do some companies charge insane amounts for shipping?

  • What's the policy on shipping firearms & firearm related items? Is that down to the state level?

Those are all (for the most part) fixed costs & are items & things that are already paid for, though. It's not like every time I ship a package, I'm paying for your scale in the corner unless you're a warehouse or a recycling center with an industrial-grade scale.

Even so, you're still making money on the deal with the discounts you get for volume. As a more concrete example: It makes no sense for a company like MidwayUSA to charge $15 shipping on something that at best, costs maybe $8 to ship. They probably only get charged $5 to ship due to the discounts they get with how much money they make & items they ship out.

I know for a fact I've shipped computer equipment like switches & it barely even cost $20 & that's some heavy stuff.

I don't know, maybe I'm just as confused as the average person. I sure as hell sound like it even with what I know.

Do you reply to support and/or e-mails from people who are not exactly virgins, but would like to explore certain things a bit more? I'm looking for some advice on something as a male & am looking for perspective.

:)
