While I definitely understand the argument about subsidization of factory farmed meat, that seems unlikely to change in the near future. Is cultured meat still going to be economically viable while having to compete with such a subsidized product? And I don't mean at the same prices - many people would be willing to pay more for harm-free meat, but will it be affordable as a treat for someone who is lower/middle class?

Hi Dr. Badalamenti,

My family is from Ikaria, so I've been there several times in my life - one thing I've noticed that's interesting is that people there still do engage in things that we generally consider harmful to living a long life (cigarette smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, lots of time in the sun and often without sunscreen).

I don't know if those things are prevalent in the other blue zones, but do you think the other lifestyle factors that might help people live longer just outweigh these negative health choices?

I would also note that it seems like aside from a dietary difference, there's also a large difference in the mental lifestyle. As in, people just do whatever they want without worrying as much. I don't know if this is a good or bad thing, as in my experience everyone on the island seems to constantly be late for everything and do things without caring how it will affect other people, but I wonder if the lack of stress helps with mitigating chronic diseases.

Why did Axon prevent trading in AMC and NOK yesterday? CashApp would not let those buys go through due to a call by Axon
