The movement of the vikings (from what I understand) involved agricultural issues such as hunger and poverty which similar issues resulted in a mass displacement of people in Germanic Europe in a previous period. I've always been interested in the Germanic displacement which resulted in tribes meeting the Romans in battle. What do you think about a show that could highlight this? Or from the perspective opposing roman conquest? Also if you haven't heard of them; check out Eluveitie, they're an amazing folk metal band who use traditional instruments.
