WHY do "Conservatives report, but liberals display, greater happiness"? What do you think caused this result?

Even so; why might there be a statistically significant difference in the way that conservatives and liberals represent their ideas between surveys and via social media? The surveys may not be private, but they're not created for public consumption the way social media posts are. So there's definitely a difference there, and it's understandable that we present ourselves differently as a result.

But what intrigues me is that there's ALSO a difference that correlates to political stance. And I'm curious about that.
