Lol, the glass bottle seems like a nice touch. On a slightly more likely to actually happen note, my favorite fireworks are the tiny firecrackers with the small white flash that you throw in the water and make soda cans fly a few feet into the air with.

I don't know if you make the fireworks as well as launching them, but what would I have to do to make something like that? Would I need to go through any special steps to waterproof the thing, or would whatever I use to hold everything together suffice, and am I correct in assuming that the whiteness is from magnesium?

Suppose I have a long fuse and a couple jars of powder left over from handloading, how far should I run?

Lets just say the grains are all poured into a glass jar, for shits and giggles.
