What are small ways I can beat the system?

I teach grade 9 English and my kids read Boy in Striped Pajamas and Anne Frank. I try teach the content in a way that we can relate past atrocities with the contemporary atrocities world wide.

What is something you see happening in the world today that reminds you of what you went through?

And - in what ways do you think we should be galvanising young people today in terms of seeing prejudice as dangerous?
