As someone who came to the thread without checking any of the pics or video, I made that mistake too until I read "fangirling".

Edit: I don't think the quote supports the view that OP's idea is that women should be paid less.

It's not used as justification to pay them less, or at least that isn't the impression I got.

I'm not sure it argues that all women are this way, just observes that some of the career achievement differences are attributable to a large enough proportion of women (and a small enough proportion of men) working less because of childrearing commitments.
