See, a $5 tip on a $50 check isn't that bad a tip in the UK. It always astounds me that Americans have allowed a culture to develop where paying significantly more than the list price for your food is normal.

Clarification for anyone wondering in case OP doesn't come back to this: This almost certainly isn't the guy being evasive. In Ukraine, people often study crazily specific subjects, and a lot of them are not easy to translate.

The protest are peaceful for the most part. At the moment, at least.
