that's not sadly simple, it's awesome :) it's always good to hear someone saying they got into this because they actually think it's just a fun fucking job as opposed to some kind of economic exploitation situation :(

so, good for you n.n !

I can't find the blog post now, but on the Hunger for Words website, there were some things described anecdotally that were pretty interesting.

for example, when the owner was out of the room and her pot of food started boiling over, she heard her dog Stella hitting "help!" over and over.

or when the owner failed to take her dog on a walk or feed her at a certain time (it wasn't time yet I guess), Stella hit a combination of something like "I don't love you" and left the room

there were a lot more examples and I know that doesn't amount to a study, but what do you think of this?

holy shit this is amazing! did you ever have dudes pressure you into using the side you were 'saving' or did you just guide all of that?

what was it like being an escort :o ? what made you interested in that? I always wonder about this because, even though I believe sex work should be made legal, it seems like there's a lot of potential for feeling used and it being traumatic (like the high incidence of street prostitutes who have to dissociate to survive the experience psychologically). so it's always interesting to hear the perspective from people who tried it. what advice would you have to people that are curious about doing it (assuming they can, legally, where they live, and all that)?

yes very good points. I would definitely love to see a more controlled study or more 'null' data reported!
