I recently moved away from Bellingham (to Charleston, oddly enough) and I remember hearing about this and feeling totally heartbroken for you guys. How are your fellow students/survivors doing these days?

As an aside, you should really think about writing something formal about your experience. You have the skills and it may help you, and others, process these experiences. Also, it's not a perspective most people have gotten to hear and it seems to be more important than ever to shine a light on mental illnesses. Thanks again and good luck in your recovery.
