A big difference is wetting agents (of which daily disposables lose significantly faster), oxygen permeability (daily disposable lenses usually are much less), durability.

Do you rub your lenses before putting them in solution? Rubbing them gets rid of deposits.

What solution do you use?

I've asked my optometrist about changing the last two times I've been in but he insists that this is the best brand on the market.

Most ridiculous answer ever. There is no "best brand on the market." Different lenses work for different people. I actually think Oasys is one of the worst lenses and would never prescribe it to any one. That said, if you optometrist doesn't listen to your needs, find another one.

And by the way, since you are a college student and wants to save money, neither Oasys 1 Day or Total 1 would be right for you. Both are around $700+ for a year supply.
