All the best to you! I have an IGA deficiency on top of the ITP, so they couldn't give me the IG. But now I'm 23 with no flares since 2010 and I'm hoping it stays that way.

I recently visited Israel via Birthright and despite being part of a Jewish community and having a Jewish Studies minor, I found there are many topics which American Jews (myself included) are blissfully ignorant concerning the current state of affairs. Do you think the misunderstandings held by non-Israeli Jews affect Israel in any way? And if so, is there a way to possibly change perspective?
