Psychiatric units are typically locked down. It couldn't go far.

I like to call it nurse burn out. Psychiatric nurses get worn down by people just acting like kindergarteners. Many people take advantage of their care and after time they look at you like a sack of meat, not a person. Because of this my hospital forces staff to rotate.

It involved pictures, something most psych units frown on. If she had pictures of other patients, she was committing a felony.

There is rotation through the different psych units. We have 4 (sometimes 3) separate psychiatric units with different types of people.

While there is a difference, an RN is an RN, and they can float in with a moderate amount of on the job training.
