that last part is so true. I'm in fast food and in my opinion it seems as though the corporation cares more about extracting as much money as they can for every visit and training people to come here and rewarding bad behavior on their part just so that we can extract more of their dollars again. for about 12 consecutive months we had something on breakfast on special, 2 for $x. it did not matter what it was, these people always got it. and then the constant coupons. no one gets what they actually like, just what's cheap. and that kind of attitude is reflective when something goes wrong. people will yell at you and threaten to call corporate if they aren't satisfied and then to satisfy them you have to almost offer them stock in the company.

honestly I don't feel as though someone in upper management has my back because the focus is making sure the customer is happy not the employees.

not that I have not done it before but working retail has made me give a pass to everyone I come across in retail and I never make huge issues out of mistakes. I am probably one of the easiest people to deal with because I know people are assholes and workers never should have to deal with that no matter what job they are doing.

why do you interview more republicans than democrats?

why won't you ask the tough questions of the republicans or let them skate on obviously false or contradictory answers?

why did you state it was not your job to correct the obvious lies the republicans were telling about the affordable care act? isn't it the job of the media (which you are a part of) to fact check the politicians? it seems to me that the main reason that fewer than 20% of eligible voters nationwide vote is because the media instead of telling the truth wants to blame both sides for problems when I think it is pretty clear one side is being the main bad actor. blaming both sides promotes voter apathy and the bad actors remain in office put there by an uninformed electorate.

by the way, I am not a democrat.

what are you guys' take on venus de milo? I thought she was an interesting concept that wasn't given a fair shot by eastman.
