/u/krispykracker1 and I have been working very hard on this project lately which involves activating high school seniors supporting Bernie, getting them to register first-time voters and in turn getting their groups to caucus and vote. Our message is focused on the importance of voter turnout and how crucial it'll be in this campaign, in this demographic, and the project's goal is to shatter previous conceptions of high school demo turnout, and help create a level of engagement and voting like never seen before.

Since the test launch a few weeks ago, we already have more than 100 volunteers in 30 states participating on our Slack group; they have founded clubs at their schools and are busy creating local events, with huge excitement and great response. Our members have already registered hundreds of first-time voters across the country in under two weeks and have organized many more flyering, tabling, and voter registration drives.

Collectively, under our guidance, our creative volunteers have already held tens of unique events locally getting their classmates interested, and many more will be created moving forward, with a laser-sharp focus on Iowa. We think we can have a serious, real effect on the results in Iowa in less than 45 days.
