Zing! good question, not sure what exactly 6th degree is in this context (the statute is O.C.G.A.ยง15-12-135). If its the same as in intestacy, then 6th degree is quite distant by modern standards. I haven't the faintest clue who might be my first cousin twice removed...

Georgia limits the degree of relation (6th degree I believe) that jurors can have to defendants. Makes sense in the rural parts of georgia.

Driving, by far the riskiest activity we all engage in and ignore the risks, is about 0.00971% for people that drive 10,000 miles per year. Drive 20,000 miles per year? about the same risk as pregnancy, so no, it's not that dangerous.
